Ina-Garten
Ina Garten has been an acclaimed American cook book author for many years. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa and began its run in 2002. Ina started writing policy and nuclear energy documents for the White House. Ina initially enjoyed the intellectual stimulation that came with her work, but she soon began to lose the interest. In her place, she purchased Barefoot Contessa, a specialty restaurant. Before selling the business it took her more than 18 years building it to an extremely successful business. There were many more cookbooks and magazine columns which came later. In the meantime she also had her own Food Network show was also a success. Additionally, she offers everything from equipment to cooking items and even containers. Ina, who is self-taught she has never attended an institution for cooking or a hotel. She is known for her simple approach to cooking and effortless take on entertainment. Her most popular recipes include Skillet-Roasted lemon chicken and Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon, Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
